Working with her Grammy winner partner on the ‘Shine’ album and many Club Remixes, Cyndi and Jan were writing partners from 1993-2001.

JaN’s songs have also been recorded by artists such as legendary Rock and Roll Hall of fame inductee and 2014 Oscar winner, Darlene Love. Steps, Ani di Franco, Anthony Head, DJs Julian Marsh, Junior Vasquez, 3kStatic and Soul Solution have also remixed her songs.

She co-wrote the UK song for Europe and provided incidental music for the Winter Olympics with long time writing partner Chico Freeman, with whom she is producing PledgeMusic Artist Estelle Kokot. The beautiful Freeman/Pulsford songbook, 'The Sound of You’’ is a collection of songs in the tradition of the jazz standard and they are recording it with with the legendary South African bassist Herbie Tsoaeli.

For the last ten years JaN has been exploring the world of ambient music and virtual worlds.
